Jim Bognet Raises $150,000 In The First Two Weeks Of Congressional Campaign in PA-8

Hazleton, PA - During the first two weeks of his campaign to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, Jim Bognet has raised more than $150,000, averaging over $10,000 per day in contributions.

No other Republican candidate has reported raising more than $18,000 in the FIRST QUARTER of their campaign, according to the FEC. These figures clearly demonstrate that Jim Bognet has significantly out-raised all reporting Republican candidates COMBINED during their first quarter in the race.

“I am humbled at the outpouring of support in these first two weeks,” Jim Bognet said. “It’s clear to me our message of standing up to Congressman Cartwright’s left wing record is resonating. We are building a strong fundraising organization through on-the-ground community support across Northeastern Pennsylvania that will enable us to take our message to the people.”

Bognet continued, “Nancy Pelosi’s Lapdog Matt Cartwright is sitting on a million dollars of D.C. lobbyist money. In order to defeat Lapdog Cartwright in November, the Republican nominee must raise the resources necessary to compete. Our campaign is proving every day that we can take the fight to liberal impeacher Cartwright and raise the resources necessary to get our pro-Trump, anti-socialist message out on all media across the district.”
